Trafalgar Square goes Green

this time last year, i was basking in the sun that also rarely shines in London-town in my favorite square… Trafalgar Square. today, while reading through the BBC News, the headlines regarding Trafalgar square caught my eye, stating that more than 2,000 sq m of turf has been laid as part of Visit London’s campaign to promote green spaces and villages in the city. for me…i only wish that they thought of this idea when i was living there… to lay out in that square would be surreal.

AC Milan wins Champions League in Athens

yes i know… i don’t seem much of a footballer, but ever since my 9 month stint in Europe, i can’t seem to get enough. So much to my surprise and happiness of seeing the headlines and my favorite team taking the prize.

In Athens, Greece, today May 23, The Italian AC Milan won the Champions League after beating England’s Liverpool FC 2-1 in the soccer final played at the Olympic Stadium in Athens on Wednesday night. Milan’s goals were scored by Filippo Inzaghi in the 45th minute and 82nd. Liverpool’s goal was scored by Dirk Kuyt in the 89th.

JR is a character that no one can match, with a love for heavy metal, morrisey and the smiths and his own store Winner’s Circle Rolling around with him in his jaguar is going to be nothing but a shit show. Do-it-yourself…

…the craze where you literally “do-it-youself,” has recently re-emerged and i like it. starting with nothing to wear but phil’s too large t… i decided i had to take matters into my own hands and create a dress. making something out of nothing. it ended up working out quite well and i think it may be something i might get into more within the next couple of weeks… but word to the wise… be careful what you choose to re-create/make. riding the 25 today… an elderly lady thought i’d be good to “decorate your own shoe”… with markers. completely unncessary.
