my most recent obsession, thanks to salt bag c… has been the recent discovery of 28 days later and the recent release of the movie 28 weeks later. i, myself have never been a fan of “zombie” movies, but this movie has pretty much consumed my life for the past 2 weeks. taking place in picturesque london-town and it’s surrounding counrysides, the complete desolation and emptiness leaves you wondering how it was possible to film, seemingly without effort. the movie is mostly filmed on digital video, giving a docu feel and the ability to film quickly. the two movies are brutal and exhaustingly exhilirating with the music, haunting; the images, grim… it has you from the moment the blood starts spouting.
