it’s been a while since i’ve blogged up on this piece… graduation and parties have taken up my time, but here’s my latest obsession.

kevin lyons is the creative mind behind Natural Born. A typographer, an art director, a designer, a teacher, and a father, in 2001, he was named as one of the “top forty designers under thirty” by ID Magazine. Tired of trying to convince the world that there could be a graphic equivalent to rap music, Lyons takes all the qualities of hip-hop and uses them as a platform to design and work from. i saw this shirt a couple of days ago on the fuct site and instantly fell in love… Erik Brunetti, artist/grafitti writer, is the brainchild to FUCT and has worked tirelessly for the past 15 years keeping it in the forefront in the street-wear game. check at his latest interview at slamxhype to see his work and most recent project “love awareness.” his words of wisdom… “buy more books. and less sneakers.”

the hundreds

after breakfast saturday, Ab Fresh aka French Dap and i decided to take an afternoon stroll through the streets of cap hill. detouring through the z club and goods… we stepped into the little gem known as “winner’s circle” and found a refreshing collection of freshly printed t’s. Ray, thankfully, pointed out this number

which Dap and i could not refuse. being oddly reminiscent of team savory… it had to be purchased and it’s “watch jane hate; see jane stunt” message is just a plus.
